This project was originally going to be a complete exterior renovation with new windows, trim and sidewall. However, a few years prior the homeowner hired a contractor to move the house due to erosion and that contractor failed to complete the project by not adding proper load bearing points and beams throughout the basement. Since that building permit was still open, I had to first complete that work in order to pull a new building permit for the renovation. We completed everything that needed to be done and the homeowner was very pleased with the final product. A few years later we went back to do the roof in Red Cedar.
